Part Time Fire Inspector

New Hope Borough, Bucks County, PA, is seeking applications for a Part Time Fire Inspector. Interested applicants must possess experience with fire inspections and an understanding of the International Fire Code and municipal ordinances.

This position performs fire enforcement activities for the Borough, including annual inspections to ensure compliance with fire and safety codes and regulations.

Qualified applicants must have Fire Inspector 1 certification, a valid driver’s license, successfully pass a background check and drug screening and able to perform all physical requirements of the job.

Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer

The New Hope Borough Police Department is seeking a responsible and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the safety and efficiency of our community while gaining valuable experience in law enforcement operations.

Position:
  • Title: Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer
  • Location: New Hope Borough, PA
  • Hours: Flexible part-time schedule, approximately 20 - 30 hours per week
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce parking regulations within New Hope Borough
  • Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle to identify parking violations
  • Issue citations for parking infractions
  • Monitor and report any issues or safety hazards related to parking areas
  • Provide information and assistance to the public regarding parking rules
  • Work closely with the New Hope Borough Police Department to ensure public safety

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Prior experience in law enforcement or public safety is a plus, but not required
  • Must pass a background check

Part Time Officers Wanted

The New Hope Borough Police Department is looking for part-time officers. We offer an opportunity to work in a vibrant community. The Borough of New Hope is home to many restaurants and attractions that draw people from the entire Delaware Valley and beyond. We are an accredited police agency and adhere to a community policing philosophy. You will be working with dedicated officers and supervisors.

The requirements are that you have your Act 120 Basic Academy and have passed the Pennsylvania State Certification Exam. You must be 21 years of age, a US citizen, have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, and have a clean criminal record. You must be able to perform the essential job functions of a police officer.
