COVID-19 is the disease caused by a novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. The global pandemic has led to rising cases and deaths across the United States. Until a vaccine is widely available and a large precentage of the public have been innoculated, We all must remain vigilant. To reduce the risk of catching the disease or spreading it to others, we all must practice masking, distancing, and washing.

Three Important Ways to Slow the Spread

  • Wear a mask to protect yourself and others and stop the spread of COVID-19
  • Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from others who don’t live with you, and avoid crowds
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
