The members of the Borough staff are appointed by Council for indefinite terms and serve at the pleasure of Council.
Cathryn Thomas is the Borough Manager and Secretary to Borough Council. Cathie is responsible for day to day operations of the Borough, and works closely with the Council President, Vice President and the Borough staff in coordinating a wide variety of projects and programs within the Borough.
JoAnn Connell is an Administrative Assistant, who prepares and archives the minutes of Council, Planning Commission, and Historical Architectural Review Board (HARB) public meetings. JoAnn also coordinates public meeting agendas with board members, advertises and posts public notices, and coordinates the zoning, construction, and HARB application process.
James Ennis is the Borough Zoning Officer, and is responsible for the administration, interpretation and enforcement of the Borough Zoning Ordinance and Property Maintenance Code. Please call 215 862 3347 to make an appointment with the Zoning Officer.
Jesse Hill & James Kopchak are the Borough's Code Officials, who administer and enforce the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code, including the Fire Code, as well as the Borough's Property Maintenance Code. Their duties include construction plan reviews and inspections. Jesse Hill is available part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. James Kopchak is available part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 am until 11:30 am. Please call 215-862-3347 to make an appointment with a Code Official.

The LGBT Liaisons for the Borough act as emissaries to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities of New Hope. The liaisons provide information, referral services, guidance, coordination, and technical assistance to the Borough and its residents on initiatives intended to serve the LGBT community. The LGBT Liaisons also work to eliminate prejudice and discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Michael Cummings, Chief of Police, is also the Borough's Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC). The EMC prepares the Borough's Emergency Operations Plan, which is designed to mitigate the effects of catastrophic man-made or natural events. The EMC also coordinates the emergency response to such events and advises the Borough administration and elected officials on the proper actions necessary to safeguard the lives and property of the citizens of the community.

The New Hope Visitors' Center is located at 1 West Mechanic Street in downtown New Hope and is operated and staffed by the the Bucks County Playhouse. Constructed in 1839, seven years after the town was incorporated, the Visitors' Center served as New Hope's first town hall, school, and jail. The Visitors' Center features access for the disabled, an outdoor garden area, and public restrooms. Center employees assist visitors in obtaining information about the unique shops, stores, restaurants, and lodgings available in the Borough
